‘AMK-Man Power’ literally means ‘Garden of Roses,’ is a peaceful place where senior citizens dwell in an atmosphere of compassion and affection.
AMK-Man Power is a splendid home, especially to the suffering senior citizens. This splendid home is a paradise of senior citizens and a haven where the angel-like nurses serve the weary and ailing, aged men and women with a smile. The service of the nurses is much appreciated by the inmates for it is copiously blended with love and affection-fatherly and motherly or sometimes a combination of both.
Initially, AMK-Man Power, Senior Citizens Care and Protection Centres were started in Kanyakumari district. Three centres started functioning initially with the main centre at Nagercoil Town, the headquarters of Kanyakumari district, and very close to District Collector’s Office, and the other one at Ramanputhoor, Nagercoil and the third one at Kanyakumari. All these homes take ultra care of senior citizens. A total 150 senior citizens are now enjoying a home atmosphere here in these centres.
